Driving home from Exposition Park in gridlock traffic up Vermont. Toward Venice Blvd., we discover it is totally barricaded for some unannounced mile-long street festival. No signage. No lights. No police. No municipal staff. No security. No explanation. Just a barricade & thousands of confused & enraged drivers in rus...h hr. Its times like this that make me just wanna start shooting into the crowd.
....AND this is the third such encounter I've had in the last 30 days here. LA can send everybody through the ringer for public permits, and yet fail to alert ANY traffic during rush hour on a Friday of a detour? No detour even provided? Really? Fuck you L.A. I'd punch you in your nuts if you had any.
